Workspace roles apply to your internal team members.

OwnerEverything, including billing and deleting the workspace
AdminAll content plus member management, excluding billing
EditorCreate, edit, and delete projects and files
ViewerRead-only access to all shared content

Portal roles apply to external client contacts inside a specific client portal.

You can restrict a member’s access on a per-folder basis to be more restrictive than their workspace role — but you cannot grant more access than their role allows.

Workspace roles can be changed by any Admin or Owner via Settings → Members. Portal roles can be changed from the Portal → Members page for the relevant client.
